Winter is back again folks. The time of year when so many accidents take place mainly because of slippery roads or snow falling. The holiday season also causes an increase of drivers on the road, and if you’re travelling this holiday season, we here at Seidel Hyundai want to make sure that you’re staying safe by following a few of our helpful tips below!
- Always use your fog lights when it’s snowing, and if it gets so bad that you can barely see, pull over and wait for it to die down a bit before continuing on.
- Make sure you always carry a window scraper with you at all times, since you never know when you might need it.
- When it gets colder outside than the inside dew point, your inside windows will condense with moisture and make it hard to see, to prevent this from happening, run your defoggers.
- Make sure that your winter tires have the proper tread before having them equipped.
